Tokoy Ghoul AU is a AU (Alternate Universe) within the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom. In the AU, Hiccup, Merida, Rapunzel and Jack Frost are portrayed as characters from Tokoy Ghoul. This could also be a sub-scenario for Dark AU and Anime AU.

About this AU[]

Spawning from fanart, this AU places the Big Four, and other such characters in the fandom, as characters from Tokyo Ghoul. Along with being portrayed as Ghouls.

The manga/anime focusing on a human who gets turned into a half Ghoul, before introducing a few others who are similar to the main protagonist, can possibly make this AU an alternative to Hybrid AU. While the criminal investigation side of the Commission of Counter Ghoul could also have it as an alternative to Crime AU

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III[]

Hiccup's kind heart and the way his young teen self exhibited one or two shy and timid-like traits until the end of the first HTTYD film, as he grew into the leader people came to love and respect, and as well as Hiccup befriending those that many have portrayed as monsters or villains that need to be stopped, can easily cast him as Ken Kaneki. A young Japanese teen who got caught between two worlds when he was turned into a human-ghoul hybrid, and ends up growing a leader who aims to bring peace between humans and ghouls. Just as Hiccup fought hard to bring Vikings and dragons together in friendship.

Jack Frost[]

Fans have portrayed Jack as Ken Kaneki, as the two characters both have white hair (that was original a different color), were humans in a "past life" and gained powers from their transformations.

Merida DunBroch[]

Merida's personality and being an older sister can easily portray her as Touka Kirishima. Instead of having a rabbit mask, Merida's Ghoul mask would most likely be that of a bear, horse or eagle. With them being the types of animals that fans are familiar with when it comes to Merida.

Yokai/Robert Callaghan[]

Callaghan's kabuki mask that hides his identity whenever he attacks people as Yokai, can easily portray him as a Ghoul; that goes by the code name of "Kabuki" or "Yokai". The form and ability of his kagune will resemble the way he uses the microbots.

In other circumstances, Callaghan could be cast as Yoshimura. From them being good men who have done some bad things, as well as the two being fathers. This could also have Abigail as Yoshimura's estranged daughter, Eto Yoshimura.

Chief Cruz[]

Cruz's former view of heroes, before Big Hero 6 changed his mind, could have him as a member of the Commission of Counter Ghoul, most likely as a Ghoul Investigator because of his policeman job role.

Walter Beckett[]

Walter's view of both good and bad guys as people who don't deserve to be hurt, as he believes that fighting fire with fire can get both sides burned, he'll most likely view Ghouls as people who deserve a chance despite their apatite for human meat.

Killian[]

Killian being a victim of the valent method that Lance Sterling and his agency inflects on bad guys, can easily have the robotic armed villain as a Ghoul who lost his friends to the "Doves" and decides to inflict a much harder source of pain by killing any "Doves" that come his way. An act of vengeance that drives many Ghouls who have lost friends and family to the CCG.

Blanca/Xiao-Bai[]

Like Asian demons, Ghouls appear as humans and need to fest on humans to stay alive, while demons need a human's life force to maintain their human form. Fans could use this fact to portray Blanca as a Ghoul, as there have been a few known ghouls who have fell in love with a human or simply befriended one. Her ghoul code name can easily be "White Snake" as it is the title that Blanca/Xiao-Bai and the original folklore character she is based on are commonly referred as.

Verta/Xiao-Qing[]

Since both Asian demons and Ghouls are similar to one another when it comes to their human appearances and use it as a means to get lost to the humans they plan to fest upon for survival, and have to deal with people who try to kill them because of their nature, fans could use these common links to portray Verta as a Ghoul. Her ghoul code name can easily be "Green Snake" as it is the title that Verta/Xiao-Qing and there original folklore character she is based on are commonly referred as.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng[]

Since both superheroes and ghouls wear masks hides their identities, Marinette has been portrayed as a Ghoul; that goes by the code name of "Ladybug". The form and ability of her kagune commonly resemble ladybug wings that comes out her back. There has also been a few fans who have featured Marinette as a one-eyed Ghoul.

In other circumstances, Marinette is commonly cast as Touka Kirishima. From them having short cut hair styles, are good with kids and have jobs that involve food. Along with them doing what they can to help those in need while wearing a type of mask, as Touka has worn her mask to help her fellow ghouls. While Marinette first started out as a very shy person and the times when fans have depicted her as a one-eyed ghoul in their fanwork could also have her as a female version of Ken Kaneki.

Adrien Agreste[]

With both superheroes and ghouls wearing masks hides their identities, Adrien has been portrayed as a Ghoul; that goes by the code name of "Cat/Chat Noir" or simply "Black Cat". The form and ability of his kagune could resemble a green colored tail that comes out of his back.

In other circumstances, Adrien can be cast as Ken Kaneki, as they both started out as normal teens before they were given destructive powers and are acquainted with a girl who works with food.

Marcy Kappel[]

Marcy would most likely be featured as a Ghoul Investigator of the Commission of Counter Ghoul, due to the skills she displayed in the final battle with Killian. As Ghoul Investigators need to be able to keep up with the ghouls they face for when they try to attack them.
