The Skymaxes are Big Hero 6's remote-controlled delivery systems robots that Hiro Hamada built in Big Hero 6: The Series.

When the misplacement of their Big Hero 6 suits causes the team to not arrive at the scene of a fire until after it was put out, Hiro came to realize that he and the team need a better way to suit up by having the suits come to them instead of the other way round; where the trouble started. So Hiro begins to built a robotic delivery system for their suits, but his first few tries end up not giving the results that Hiro was hoping for. Wasabi explains that it is do to inventers blog, that shakes Hiro's confidence once he was told this. After Mochi the cat was catnapped by Mr. Sparkles, however, Hiro placing the safety of his aunt's cat allowed him to build a robot that saves Mochi. That later became the base for the first Skymax, along with an app he created to summon the robot with his phone.
Sometime after words, Hiro built five more Skymaxes and colored them in the main sigher colors of the team, as well as their team icons. So they can know which Skymax has their individual suits. Along with the rest of the human members of Big Hero 6 down loading the Skymax apps to their phones.
