Sixth Street Orphanage

Sixth Street Orphanage

Sixth Street Orphanage was where Lewis was left as an infant. There he was taken care of by Mildred and shared a room with Goob, in Meet the Robinsons (2007).

Location[]

Characteristics[]

The orphanage was Lewis' home until Bud and Lucille Robinson adopted him, after they saw his invention at the science fair. By 2037, in the timeline where Goob became Bowler Hat Guy, the Orphanage had been abandoned and Goob left alone, the building slowly beginning to decay.

In another alternate timeline, the Magma Industries controlled one seen in the video game, the Orphanage still stands and apparently still in operation, though is isolated from most of the old parts of town, surrounded by lava, with Wilbur having to dig a tunnel to the mainland to allow the orphans to escape.

Lore[]

Notable Locations[]

Lewis and Goob's Room[]

Lewis and Goobs' room is one of the rooms that the orphan children share and sleep in. It is also where Lewis build his Memory Scanner, and where Michael Goob Yagoobian became the "Bowler Hat Guy", as his fury towards his former roommate and missing the winning catch grew in that very room. It is also where Bowler Hat Guy reviles his true identity to Lewis.

Roof Top[]

The building's roof is where Lewis hangs out, wants to be alone or to up come with new ideas. One of the billboards that can be seen from it is what got Lewis to build the Memory Scanner. It is also where Wilbur parks the Time Machine (a few times).

Interview Room[]

Every time couples come into the orphanage, Mildred sends them into a room with three chairs and one table so they can get to know the child they want to adopt. Lewis had 124 (failed) interviews in that room.

Role in the Crossover[]

The orphanage can be the home of orphan characters (even when they are portrayed as orphans in the crossovers and AUs), a place to hangout or a villain's hideout and safe house. As it was Michael's home and the place he and Doris took Lewis to; once they tricked him into coming with them.
