Shrek Forever After is the fourth film of DreamWorks' Shrek franchise.
Plot[]
Moments before news of Fiona's rescue from the tower reached her family, the mistrust that Queen Lillian has for Fairy Godmother had her asking King Harold to look for other ways that they can get their daughter back. Rumpelstiltskin, however, wasn't better that Fairy Godmother as he too wanted their kingdom and used their love for Fiona as a means to make them sign it to him. Before they could complete the deal a knight arrives to finally give them the news of Fiona's rescue, giving them a reason to call off their deal before it could magically be sealed. This led to Rumpelstiltskin resenting Shrek as he was the key person who destroyed his best chance of making the kingdom his.
