San Fransokyo Institute of Technology
San Fransokyo Institute of Technology (otherwise known as San Fransokyo Tech) is a prestigious university located in the city of San Fransokyo. It is also the school where the human members of Big Hero 6 attend.

The school was built over 100 years before the events of Big Hero 6. It is attended by various students who study in the fields of science and technology. Every year, the school holds a convention at its Exposition hall, where up and coming geniuses are meant to showcase new creations to receive acceptance into the university. Tadashi Hamada, GoGo Tomago, Wasabi, and Honey Lemon were in its robotics program headed by Professor Robert Callaghan, who was also a mentor to Tadashi. The position of its school mascot was filled by Fred. During the time the film takes place, Tadashi's brother Hiro presents his invention, Microbots at the showcase. An impressed Callaghan grants Hiro acceptance into the school. Following the end of the showcase however, Callaghan sets fire to the Showcase Hall through an unspecified method, forcing to everyone in the campus' vicinity to evacuate. It explodes just as Tadashi rushes in to save Callaghan, unaware that Callaghan wanted to steal the Microbots.
After the defeat and capture of Callaghan, Hiro begins to attend the school with GoGo, Honey, Wasabi, and Fred. A building dedicated to Tadashi is erected at the campus, which Hiro accepts the honor for his brother.

Ito Ishioka Robotics Lab
Ito Ishioka Robotics Lab[]
The center for the university's robotics program, this building was named after Professor Ito Ishioka. The building is divided into three floors entirely covered with glass to let in natural light, and is powered by solar panel. It was formerly headed by Robert Callaghan until Granville replaced him, and is currently attended by Hiro, Go Go, Wasabi and Honey. Tadashi's lab is also found in it.
Exposition Hall[]
This hall is where the annual showcase for applicants take place. Some companies and alumni also attend this showcase as an opportunity to hire young prodigies or even provide them a scholarship.
Periodic Table CaFe[]
It is the name given to the school's cafeteria/dining hall, which is another separate building. Its name is stylized as CaFe to represent the elements Calcium (Ca) and Iron (Fe).
Tadashi Hamada Hall[]
The building was built by Krei Tech Industries in memory of the late Tadashi Hamada who perished in the fire that consumed the Exposition Hall.
