Rise of the Arcadia Dragons (also called Rise of the Trollhunter Dragons) is a crossover between the three animated CGI DreamWorks franchises; How to Train Your Dragon, Rise of the Guardians and Tales of Arcadia. In this crossover, the main characters are Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, Jack Frost, and Jim Lake Jr.. While the crossover is not very widespread, it still has several loyal fans.
About the fandom[]
Much like the first DreamWorks male trio group, the Dreamdorks, all three characters are male human heroes from well known DreamWorks franchises, and that is why most fans put them together, despite the fact that they canonly come from different time periods in history. Even though there are theories that the world of Trollhunters is somehow connected to How to Train Your Dragon, and Viking myths have their own Norse version of Jack Frost. Along with both Rise of the Guardians and the Tales of Arcadia series taking place in the 21st century (like the new spin-off series, Dragons: The Nine Realms). The EU began sometime after the first Arcadia tale aired, which is why some of the earliest fanwork has Hiccup has his young self from the first film.
