Joyce Williams Elementary School

Joyce Williams Elementary School is Lewis' school in Meet the Robinsons (2007). Its name comes from William Joyce, the author of the book on which the film is based. In the movie, the science fair takes place in the school's gym; while Micheal Yagoobian's transformation to Bowler Hat Guy began at it's baseball pitch.

The school allows the children of Sixth Street Orphanage to attend it, so they can keep up on their education and meet other kids outside the orphanage until they get adopted and their new family moves them into a different school: that is close to their new home.

School Gym[]

The Gym was used to house the science fair and where Lewis got one of the items he needed for the invention that he was going to enter it in: the Memory Scanner. It is also the place where he met his new mother and father and his girlfriend (and future wife).

Baseball Pitch[]

The baseball pitch is where Micheal Yagoobian's transformation to Bowler Hat Guy began when he fell asleep and missed the winning catch. But after Lewis returned to his time he went up to the pitch to wake his roommate up, so Goob would be able to catch the ball and gain a better future.

Role in the Crossover[]

It is one of the schools where the fandom's young characters attend, it's also used in modern crossovers. It is also the place where Lewis or Wilbur meets some of their parings and where The Modern Four hangout, meet and learn together (when Wilbur uses his Dad's Time Machine as his bus).
