Hummingbirds are the Leafmen's winged steeds, in Epic. A golden tribal hummingbird is used as the Leafmen's mark.
Appearance[]
The birds wear armor that is similar to their rider's and saddles and rains to make it easier for them to sit and stand on their backs and to stay on them in battle.
Their size and speed makes them the right kind of birds for the Leafmen to ride on.
Personality[]
Powers and Abilities[]
The hummingbirds' green feathers and the armor that they wear, helps them to blend in the forest, flying extremely fast and can (when trained) take on the Boggans' bat and crow steeds. Which might explain why Leafmen ride them.
However they can only carry one and two people on their backs, which is why Ronin got Nod to bring his racing bird with them, as it carried the pod's caretakers - Mub and Grub - around the forest.
