Grub is snail who dreams of becoming a Leafman in the future. He is proper, but funny. He has morals, unlike his buddy slug, Mub. Grub is one of the caretakers of the pod catch, meaning that he and Mub can't be away from Tara's pod until it blooms and crowns the new queen of the forest.
Following Ronin, Nod and Mary Katherine, became his chance to prove to Ronin that he has what it takes to become a Leafman.
