Café AU (also known as Dinner AU, Bakery AU, Restaurant AU and Food AU) is an AU (Alternate Universe) within the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons universe. In the AU, Rapunzel, Merida, Hiccup and Jack Frost are people that prepare, serve and work with food. Because it is not canon, ideas for this AU are shown through fanfiction, fanart, and other fan-made works.

About this AU[]

In this AU, members of the fandom are portrayed as people that work, prepare and serve food. Fans sometimes portray the four as food or as people that advertise it, for a laugh.

How the characters themselves are portrayed usually differs, from the choses of the dishes that they prepare and serve. Most commonly, this AU takes place in modern times.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III[]

Because of Hiccup's Viking and northern culture and heritage he is seen working with Viking and northern themed food. Hiccup could also work with serving fish or even sell fish to restraints and shops, since he and the other Dragon Riders help with the fishing and possible have helped his father prepare dinner from time to time.

Jack Frost[]

Because of Jack's icy powers, he is seen specializing in frozen foods and with his center being fun, he is also seen serving and making "fun food". Most commonly ice-cream, slushy drinks and snow cones.

Merida DunBroch[]

Because of Merida's culture she is mostly seen working with Scottish food, helping to cook it in the kitchen or serving it as a waitress. She could also help and work in a sweet and cake shop, due to the disserts that she sneaks and gives her little brother; along with the cake form that the Fate Changing spell possessed when the Witch gave it to her.

Rapunzel Corona[]

Rapunzel's cooking skills can easily cast her as a cook or chef of her own café or restaurant in Corona. She can also work at the Snuggly Duckling as a waitress or cook, the pub can even be placed in modern times for modern related crossovers.

Cass Hamada[]

Since Cass ready has, works and lives above her own Café, she can easily be portrayed as herself. With Hiro, Baymax and their friends helping her out from time to time, when she needs a few more members of staff and help for the busy hours. Her time on Food Fight, the underground cooking competition, could even have her competing in a few other cooking competitions and events.

Sugar Rush Racers[]

Because of Sugar Rush and its Racers' sugary theme, Vanellope and the other young racers can either be regular customers of a sweet shop, or have older versions of their selves working at one. Some of the sweets they sell can be based on Sour Bill, Wynchel, Duncan, their karts and the other living sweet people of Sugar Rush.

The Once-ler[]

Due to the pancakes that the Once-ler is seen making in the Lorax film, he can either be working at a place that serve flapjacks or had made his function by owning a flapjack factory and business.

Monty[]

Since Uncle Monty is already an owner of a Sweet Shop, he and his business can be portrayed as themselves, along with placing his shop in modern times for modern related crossovers.

Momakase[]

Since Momakase is a Sushi chef and champion food-fighter, as well as a master thief, Café AU allows fans to focus on her culinary skills and food line of work.

Olaf[]

Being a snowman sometimes has fans portraying him as a piece of ice-cream, for a laugh. A human and modern version of Olaf could also be placed as someone who works at a ice-cream shop/parlor.
