Tangled Moana

Tangled Moana (also known as Tangoana or Tangled Wayfinder) is a crossover between the two CGI animated movies Tangled (2010) and Moana (2016). In this crossover the main characters are Rapunzel Corona, Flynn Rider, Moana Waialiki and Maui. While this crossover is not very widespread it still have its several loyal fans.

About this Crossover[]

Both main protagonists from the two films are young females (that walk barefoot), with two animal friends, fathers that are leaders and journey with a male companion that stole items - Rapunzel's Crown and the Heart of Te Fiti - that were later returned to their rightful owners, near the end of their journeys.

During the song How Far I'll Go, after Moana had used a pan leaf and a long trunk tree to get down the mountain, and when the lifted curse was returning life back to Motunui, there is a flower that looks a bit like the sun drop flower. Making it a Tangled Easter egg.

Rapunzel's journey of following the black rock, in season two of the Tangled TV series, had her sailing across the ocean before becoming shipwrecked on an tropical island, that has its own kind of magic and legends, on the island itself and from under the waves surrounding it. Which could have Rapunzel and Moana's paths cross with each others on the open ocean, as well as on Motunui, should fans have it has the island that the traveling party of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure spent six weeks on, or have Moana with either Maui or her now voyaging tribe coming across Tirapai Island. During Rapunzel and her friend's time on the island with the friendly Lorbs, while they waited to be rescued.

In the Wreck-It Ralph sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, has Rapunzel and Moana's cameos in the film as online avatar/netizen versions of themselves, with the other netizen Disney Princesses that Vanellope von Schweetz meets and befriends.
