Epic Guardians, (also called Rise of the Epic and Rise of the Epic Guardians) is a crossover between the two CGI animated movies Rise of the Guardians (2012) and Epic (2013). While this crossover is not very widespread it still has several loyal fans.
About this Crossover[]
Both films were based on two of William Joyce's books, Leafmen and the Brave Good Bugs and the Guardians of Childhood series, so fans of the two films and William Joyce books bring the two worlds together; so the characters can meet and assist each other in their battles.
Also the girl that is seen remembering her believeth in the Guardians, looks a bit like a younger version of Mary Katherine, as well as Toothiana's fairies resembling hummingbirds. It is also possible that Nim Galuu is one of the glowworms that helped to raise MiM on the Moon Clipper, and then settled down in Moonhaven when he no longer needed his care. Queen Tara's pod also needed moon light to bloom and pass the power over to the next Queen of the Forest, which could mean that there is a connection between the two worlds.
