The Druun are plague-like demons that were kept at bay by the Dragon Gem until the divided clans caused it to smash and unleased the demons back into Kumandra; this has the Druun as the secondary antagonists of Raya and the Last Dragon.
Appearance[]
The Drunn appear as a dark fog that is alive. In the prologue they are shown to have a face from the dark purple glow that is seen when they move.
Personality[]
The Druun doesn't appear to have a personality from them being a mindless plague that seeks to turn any living being (mostly humans and dragons) to stone. According to Sisu the Druun were born from human discord that have already been around and once they fine the right a moment of weakness they show themselves to the world, as well as them being the opposite of dragons. This would explain why they appeared the exact moment after the people's fighting and distrust caused the Dragon Gem to shatter.
Just as there are those who fear the Druun and do what they can to protect themselves and their people from them by staying close to the water, as the Druun are shown to hate water and stay away from it, people like Dang Hu have found away to use the Druun as a means to get rid of troublemakers and any enemies of Talon, while using the small gem shard that Dang Hai manged to obtain to keep the demons at bay.
Powers and Abilities[]
As a mindless plague the Druun have the power to turn humans and dragons, as well as other living creatures to stone by stealing their life force, that takes the form of a blue glowing light when they are caught in the Druun's fogy-like body. Each time they consume someone's soul their numbers begin to double. Most of their human victims always place themselves in a pose whenever the Druun turns them to stone. Only defeating the Druun for good can revive their victims and reverse the demons' stone turning touch, the first time they were defeated, however, only the humans were brought back while the dragons remained in their stone state; until the Druun were defeated for good the second time and everyone (humans and dragons) were revived. According to Sisu, the Druun consists of the dark and negative aspects of human beings.
